About

Xorlali Plange is a Ghanaian Costume designer currently based in Manhattan, New York. 

He has designed over twenty productions for Theatre and Dance at the Ghana National Theatre, Efua Sutherland Drama studio, Alliance Française Amphitheatre  and currently Walker Theatre at Tisch School, New York. His selected production credits include; Broken Walls (Tisch Dance Department), Atobra(2021),  Mother Ghana & Her Children(2020), When Women Move(2020), Aya, Medea, Go Back for The Answer, Our Husband Has Gone Mad Again, The Proposal(2019), Shakespeare in Love, The Shell, Kelevuvua, Quandary of Pusanku, Chains & Shackles, Lion King, Topdog/Underdog, The Days Are As Grass, Women of Owu, Happy Birthday, The Diary of Adam & Eve, The Knights’ Tale,  (2018).

Plange is currently working on Marcus Gardley’s The House That Will Not Stand (May, 2024) directed by Teresa Cruz and The Wrath of Othell’yo, a film directed by Kwesi Baraka in New York. (2024).
